CQ MRF Open Day

12th November 2011, 204 Wade Street, Parkhurst

The CQ Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) is celebrating its first birthday on Saturday 12th November, just in time for National Recycling Week. The CQLGA, alongside AMCOR and Kriaris, would like to invite the CQ community to celebrate recycling history at our MRF Open Day. 

The Open Day will be host to a range of family activities to celebrate and promote recycling in CQ. There will also be live entertainment all day and an opportunity to see the CQ MRF in operation. 

Officially opened on 10 November 2010, the facility receives recyclables from right across Central Queensland, in particular from the communities in the Central Highlands, Gladstone, Isaac and Rockhampton Regional Council areas.
