Calendar Competition

Prepare yourself for the ultimate challenge... Get ready to enter the CQLGA EarthSmart Schools Calendar Competition! 

Every year, students from around Central Queensland engage in an epic showcase of their artistic skills and recycling knowledge:

Your students' mission, if they choose to accept it, is to create a SUPER poster that illustrates: What it means to be 'EarthSmart, with a focus on recycling, reusing and reducing waste. 

Winning entries will be published in the EarthSmart Schools calendar, and distributed throughout Central Queensland.

By registering your class to participate in the Calendar Competition you:

• Engage students in promoting an important environmental issue
• Showcase your students' work to a broad community audience
• Give the students the opportunity to win some great prizes!

Entry is open to students in grades 3-7. There's a school prize on offer for the school with the best participation, so spread the word within your school!

Registrations are open from April 23th and entries will be due in by August 17th 2012.
