Calendar Competition

Prepare for the ultimate challenge...and get ready to enter the EarthSmart Schools Calendar Competition! Every year, students from around Central Queensland engage in an epic showcase of their artistic skills and recycling knowledge:

Your students' mission, if they choose to accept it, is to create a SUPER poster that promotes recycling.

Winning entries will be published in the CQLGA Community Calendar, and distributed throughout Central Queensland. By registering your class to participate in the Calendar Competition you:

• Engage students in promoting an important environmental issue
• Showcase your students' work to a broad community audience
• Give the students the opportunity to win some great prizes!

Entry is open to students in grades 3-7. There's a school prize on offer for the school with the best participation, so spread the word within your school!
The competition opens April 16th and entries will be due in by August 31st. Classes will be able to register from April 16th on www.cqlga.asn.au. To view last year's winners, click here!
